The 2011 International Loupe Awards have attracted 2900+ entries in the Open category. I entered 4 images and am super pleased  to have won 2 Bronze awards.

Not so long ago when it was wildlife, landscapes or an inanimate object like a pile of coins that caught the attention of my camera, I would not have thought I would soon be venturing into the world of maternity and newborn babies.

A couple of months ago I mentioned the idea to my friend Jessica. I said I had never done it before, but “hey, it can’t be that hard”

Well, now I can confidently say that it is that hard.

After a time, which I’m sure must feel like an eternity,  Jess is now the extremely proud mother of  gorgeous April
